Blue Anchor Leisure Ltd started with one holiday park on the Lincolnshire Coast, in 2023 the brand currently operates 16 holiday parks, eight showgrounds, three bars & restaurants, a large entertainment complex, arcade and swimming pool amongst other facilities and attractions and is a fundamental part of Lincolnshire history. Although the brand Blue Anchor Leisure started 50 years ago, the company was established in the late 1950’s with the purpose of manufacturing caravans in Ingoldmells and has been known under previous names such as Blue Anchor International and Blue Anchor Caravan Sales Ltd. In 1974 and 1975 the manufacturing side of the company won the queens award for export. Developments such as Fantasy Island and the purchase of the Golden Palm Resort (formally known as Robin Hood Leisure Park) played an integral role into building the company to what it is today. As a family-owned business the Woodward family are tremendously proud of the Blue Anchor Leisure Ltd brand and how it has evolved over the years, making it the largest independent holiday park operator on the East Coast!
To celebrate 50 years of Blue Anchor Leisure Ltd, we will be hosting 50 exciting events and activities for our owners and guests throughout the 2023 season! These will be hosted on all holiday parks and inside all venues, giving everyone the chance to get involved, they have been put together to honour our 50th anniversary as a brand with YOU, our owners and guests!
